President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order that would ban federal funding to schools and colleges in the U.S. if they continue to uphold COVID-19 vaccine mandates for students.
While most schools and colleges no longer require students to get immunized, those that still do would potentially lose federal money.
The executive order is part of Trump’s campaign promise, as he said he would “not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate.”
